What is Base Camp
Base Camp is our exciting children's ministry for your kids ages 4 through fifth grade! Your kids will be invited to Base Camp during the service and they will be learning about the Bible in fun and creative ways. Base Camp is an opportunity for you r kids to be fully engaged with hands on learning and activities that teach the stories of the Bible. Base Camp is run by the "Park Ranger" Dana Benkert and her crew who love to guide your kids on a journey with Jesus.
Your Children are important
We believe that your children are important. They are not looked down on but loved by the community of believers. It is not uncommon to see the children involved in the Sunday service from handing out bulletins to singing on the worship team. Children's ministry is one of UHCC's top priorities. Because of this, we make the safety of your children a priority. All of our workers and volunteers have been trained and have had background checks to prepare for working with your kids.

God Listens When I Pray
In an 8 week unit your kids will be learning about what prayer is, why we pray, and how we pray. They will learn through through group and individual activities, including prayer stations. After the service you are welcome to visit Base Camp and have your kids lead you through the stations and tell you what they learned.
